Michael Tzorbatzakis

Michael is a trusted strategic advisor helping clients plan and execute successful exit and expansion initiatives, including evaluation of strategic alternatives, targeted mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, financings, alliances, and joint ventures. He has over thirty years of international experience in Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Strategy, and Consulting with Fortune 500 companies and as a business operator/CEO.

As an integral part of AirTouch Communications management team, now part of Vodafone, he was instrumental in its international expansion effort in the Americas, Asia, and Europe. He led multi-disciplined teams that set up Joint Ventures.

As Senior Director of Corporate Development of Veritas Software, acquired by Symantec, he spearheaded strategic initiatives and negotiated acquisitions and alliances.

As member of Accenture’s Communications and High Technology practice, he advised clients on M&A and growth strategies including Accenture’s Communications division, Microsoft, Amdocs, Sterling Commerce, Nextel and several other leading high technology, media, and communications companies.

Michael has been owner and CEO of small businesses in the Medical Services and Logistics Industries where he led successful growth and exit strategies.

In addition to holding an MBA in Finance and Strategic Planning from UC Berkeley he holds a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from NTU, Athens, Greece.
